Analysis and Approximation of THD and Torque Ripple of Induction Motor for SVPWM Control of VSI

This article presents a harmonic analysis of the stator currents squirrel-cage induction motor fed by voltage source inverter with PWM space vector control (SVPWM). The influence switching frequency and dead time (dead band) controlled transistors on THD electromagnetic torque ripple is shown. aim to determine lowest for which drive will operate correctly. Characteristics were determined as functions in form (fPWM), where least square approximation was used current measurements when changed. approximations realized simulation experimental results.
